Larry Fisher (1905)’s Mother’s Father. He was a veteran of the Civil War. After the war all the vets were given an 80 acre farm in IN. At a later time (after Larry’s father and mother were married) Elias talked them into moving onto the farm so he could retire to a small place in Sweetser IN.

The Jolly Tar .. bought by Larry and Helen Fisher in 1959. Weekends and some vacations were spent on the boat during the summer months. On the right is the Fisher Home from 1951 through 1964 in Southington CT. Larry and Helen and the two boys moved to West Hartford CT from here.
