[842] William died when son William was 3. William's only memory of hisfather carrying him up the aisle of the Plichers Chapel Methodistchurch, a tpical small country church which is still active (1971).This church is located about three miles north of Mt. Etna, Indianaand just west if Indiana state highway 37. A small tombstone in asmall wooded cemetery about a half-mile south of the church marks thegrave of my grandfather (William).
